The project cost management course addresses the cost estimating process, pricing e budgeting. Furthermore, the course introduces earned value management methodologies and techniques which represent the most sophisticated approach for integrated time-cost-performance management..
The course allows you to acquire a clear understanding of the methodologies and parameters to be used in the entire project cost management process, clarifying the parameters and techniques to be used in the cost control and budget control cycles.
The first part concerns cost estimation techniques, of price formation (pricing) and structuring the project budget. The second part concerns the cost control and change management process for budget revision, illustrating in detail the parameters and the cost management process, including change management and budget review and the techniques to be used in the different processes.
Finally, the course addresses the earned value management methodology which allows you to integrate time planning and control, costs and performance and obtain a sophisticated project monitoring tool. The methodology is illustrated with clarity and methodological rigor, also thanks to the guided execution of a complete exercise that allows you to apply the illustrated techniques "in real time" and calculate the cost control parameters and earned value metrics via an appropriate template.
